Hi, I’m Maggie Childers,

I’m an undergraduate student at Ithaca College for Creative Writing but I’ve had a Creative Writing focus since 2018. I live in the Bay Area but most of my life is spent studying literature in New York or traveling. My writing varies from poetry to long form fiction. I strive to address American realities and the human condition through my sharp, spiritual voice and bitter manifesto. I am currently working on an epic poetry collection about the Arizona desert through the lens of class and labor. Moving towards my PhD, my goal is to write and publish across many different mediums and combat the distance growing between Americans and the written word.
